Orb-weaver - This beautiful spider spent a summer in my back yard in San Francisco.
One thing I noticed early on was that her web always looked a bit chaotic, lacking the
symmetry and order of most orb-weaver webs. Eventually I realized she was missing a
front leg which taxed her weaving skills but didn't affect her hunting skills.
